When you are woken up in the morning by Grandma’s “charming war-horn voice” and realize that another rendezvous with the deadly boring Balthasar von Bodeldung is pending, the only option left is a tactical retreat. The plan was simple, almost brilliant in its simplicity: Pick up Holzhirn, head to the tavern, switch off the brain. A little short vacation from reality.
But as is so often the case in Tamriel, fate lurks where you least expect it –
sometimes in the form of a fluffy ball of fur with eyes like lanterns.
