About us!
- Darkbat’s Alenwen is set in the world of The Lord of the Rings Online (#LotRO). Here we accompany the young Elf Alenwen, who naively and full of curiosity embarks on an adventure. She meets unconventional characters such as the Beorningen Skaldiv, who prefers honey and snapps beer to company, and cheerful hobbits like Frecha. The series looks at Middle-earth from a new, fresh angle and tells of unexpected friendships, obstacles and plenty of chaos lurking along the way. We have now reached the second season, in which we are focussing more on the backgrounds of our characters.
- Patsy Wackelwitz, on the other hand, is our latest project and takes place in The Elder Scrolls Online. Patsy is a completely independent character who has nothing to do with Alenwen, but whose wonderfully chaotic charm causes quite a stir. Here, too, we rely on a distinct role-playing flair, which we realise on film. Patsy Wackelwitz is an unpredictable character who almost magically attracts ironic comments and bizarre situations. We would like to present the adventures she experiences in Tamriel as a humorous, independent series.
Who we are and what we want
We are a small team of role-playing game fans who are keen to share their online adventures with others. Each of our series is a pure fan project that we realise out of pure enthusiasm for fantastic worlds – without any commercial interests.
- We invest our free time, our creative ideas and our own resources to make these stories as lively as possible.
- Our aim is to offer an entertaining mixture of suspense, humour and role-playing flair.
- We would be delighted if we could inspire both experienced role-players and newcomers.
Why two series?
We just had too many stories we wanted to tell! Darkbat’s Alenwen is centred around an Elf in Middle-earth, while Patsy Wackelwitz explores a very different, chaotic and lovable world in Tamriel. Although both projects are set in different universes, they share one thing in common: our passion for role-playing games and telling engaging, humorous stories.
Outlook
We still have a lot of ideas up our sleeves and want to continue to live out our creativity. While we are pushing ahead with the second season at Darkbats Alenwen, we are looking forward to experiencing completely new adventures in The Elder Scrolls Online with Patsy Wackelwitz and realising them on film. We want to show again and again how closely friendship, fun and fantasy are linked in role-playing games.
