Music Unites Roleplay (Musicvideo)

Music and role play – a special kind of combination

Today we would like to present you with a very special video that is very close to our hearts. It shows wonderful and impressive scenes from the two great games The Lord of the Rings Online (LotRO) and The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). In this video, you can experience how characters and even entire groups make music together, create role-playing games and thus not only tell fantastic stories, but also forge real connections – between the players, the communities.

For us, this project is more than just a collection of in-game scenes. It’s a tribute to the people behind the screens – you, our friends and fellow players. It’s a celebration of the power of music in roleplaying and an expression of our gratitude to the wonderful communities of both games who continue to prove how creative, friendly and passionate they are.

The importance of LotRO and ESO for us

Both The Lord of the Rings Online and The Elder Scrolls Online (only recently) have become incredibly important to us over the years. They offer us not only unforgettable adventures and exciting stories, but also something much more valuable: the opportunity to connect with other people and create something unique together.

In LotRO, we experience the magic of Middle-earth, accompanied by a community that honours Tolkien’s work with so much love and dedication. There we have the opportunity to experience epic stories, but also to create music as our very own work of art – be it through the automatic music system or through real, self-written compositions.

In ESO, on the other hand, we enjoy the freedom to be creative in an open world that is as diverse and deep as the Elder Scrolls series itself. Here, too, the community has a firm place in our hearts. Role-players and musicians come together to create impressive stories, organise epic concerts (only possible in Lord of the Rings Online) or simply have fun together.

Music in role play: a unifying force

Music has always been a universal means of bringing people together, sharing emotions and telling stories. This is exactly what our video shows. It proves how creatively the music systems of both games could be used – from the elaborately staged concerts in LotRO to the musical performances (in videos) and experiences in ESO.

However, music in role-playing games goes far beyond the games themselves. It creates memories, strengthens the community and allows us to overcome the boundaries of virtual worlds. Whether we are travelling in Middle-earth or Tamriel, music has the power to build bridges and connect us.

Our message to both communities

This video is our thank you to you – the LotRO communities who have brought us so much joy over the years. It is also a call to all players who want to experience the power of music and role-playing: Dive into the worlds, meet new people and get carried away by the creativity and sense of community.

We know we’re not alone in our love for these two games and the amazing people behind them. You have inspired us to work on this project and we hope this video inspires you as much as it does us.

A final word

Music and role-playing games – they are more than just a style of play or a hobby. They are a common language that connects people regardless of origin, language or platform. We would like to invite you to become part of this wonderful connection. Immerse yourself in the worlds of The Lord of the Rings Online and The Elder Scrolls Online, be inspired by the possibilities of music and experience the magic of The Elder Scrolls Online that happens when players create together.

We thank you all for your support and your enthusiasm. None of this would be possible without you. Stay creative, stay connected – and keep the music playing. ❤️
