Recently, I have been working intensively on the comments function on this site. It was originally intended as a place for sharing, feedback and discussions about content, thoughts and ideas. But the reality was unfortunately different.
The comments function was hardly used. Hardly anyone actually wrote there or took part in discussions. Instead, it increasingly became the target of automated spam messages. These had to be regularly filtered, deleted and checked. This not only took time, but also diverted the focus away from what this is all about – content with heart, creativity and personality – Patsy.
I have therefore decided to remove the comment function. It is a step towards more clarity, more security and less unnecessary effort in the background.
But don’t worry, anyone who still wants to say or share something is of course very welcome. The guestbook is still available for this purpose. It remains open for your thoughts, greetings, ideas, praise or criticism. I am happy about every message that ends up there. It’s a nice place for exchange, without (hopefully) adverts, bots or spam.
